Brow Lift (Forehead Lift)

Brow Lift (Browplasty)

A brow lift, also commonly referred to as a forehead lift, or forehead rejuvenation is a cosmetic procedure that creates a more alert, youthful appearance by raising the eyebrows. A brow lift surgery can improve frown lines, minimize lines on the bridge of the nose and / or forehead, and correct low or drooping eye brows.

After having brow lift surgery, 76% of patients are happy with the results and think it was worth having done. Most patients receive a new found confidence resulting after a cosmetic brow lift procedure.

Brow Lift Procedure

During eye brow lift surgery, incision(s) are made on the top of the head. Once the incision has been made the plastic surgeon will take great care to raise the forehead and eye brows by repositioning the soft tissue and skin, leaving you with a new youthful profile. Brow lift surgery can be performed by itself or in combination with other cosmetic procedures, such as eyelid, or facelift surgery.

After Brow Lift Surgery

Following brow lift surgery, the patient may be wrapped in a delicate head dressing for up to 48 hours. Some patients experience minor swelling and bruising for the first 7 to 10 days. This is normal and will subside. The majority of patients will be able to return to their normal activity level within the first two weeks following eye brow surgery.
